Section 576.240  Certification of Public Records

When requested, the Freedom of Information Officer shall provide copies of public records appropriately certified as to their authenticity and accuracy.  Fees for certification of public records shall be assessed in accordance with the fee schedule for certification of public records established by the Attorney General.  Payment of fees shall be waived if the requestor is a State agency, a constitutional officer, or a member of the General Assembly.  Fees may be waived whenever the Freedom of Information Officer determines that waiver of fees serves the public interest.
