Section 926.200  Definitions

When used in this Part, unless the context otherwise clearly requires:

"Act" shall mean the Illinois Human Rights Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 68, pars. 1-101 et seq.) [775 ILCS 5/1-101].

"Charge" shall mean the document alleging a civil rights violation which is filed with or initiated by the Department in accordance with SEction 7A-102 or 7B-102 of the Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 68, pars. 7A102 and 7B-102) [775 ILCS 5/7A-102 and 5/7B-102].

"Department" shall mean the Department of Human Rights, its employees and agents.

"Director" shall means the Director of the Department or a duly authorized designee.

"FOIA" shall mean the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1001, ch. 116, pars. 201 et seq.) [5 ILCS 140/1 et seq.].
