Section 1800.110  Public Hearings

a)         The Director or his designee may conduct public hearings on proposed rulemakings whenever it is determined that the interest of the State would be best served by such a hearing.

b)         A formal notice of a public hearing shall be published in the Illinois Register at least ten days prior to the hearing.  The notice shall include the date, time, and location of the hearing.

c)         Minutes of the public hearing shall be recorded and shall be available for public inspection.
