Section 176.130  Nonresident Application for Appointment

The form in Illustration A must be used by an applicant for notary public who resides in a state bordering Illinois whose place of work or business is within a county in Illinois, but only if the laws of the applicant's state of residence authorize residents of Illinois to be appointed and commissioned as notaries public in that state.
