Section 505.80  Rights and Privileges

Committed persons assigned to the Tamms Correctional Center shall have the rights and privileges outlined in 20 Ill. Adm. Code 525 except as provided herein.

a)         Telephone

            Use of the telephone shall be prohibited except as required by law or as approved by the Chief Administrative Officer in an emergency.

b)         Visits

1)         Except for legal visits, persons wishing to visit a committed person should submit a request sufficiently in advance to the Chief Administrative Officer of the Tamms Correctional Center.  Visits must be approved in advance by the Chief Administrative Officer.

2)         All visits shall be non-contact.
