Section 1220.110  Authority

This Part is promulgated pursuant to the Intergovernmental Drug Laws Enforcement Act, Public Act 80-617, which charges the Illinois Department of Law Enforcement to establish reasonable rules. Additionally, the Department is charged with coordinating the operations of all MEG Units, conducting those investigations the Director deems necessary to carry out the Department's designated duties under this Act, including the establishment of forms for reporting by each MEG Unit to the Department.
