Section 320.500  Purpose

This subpart outlines procedures for the development and maintenance of a Radiological Protection Program that is necessary to provide Illinois jurisdictions with the plans, procedures, instrumentation, facilities and trained personnel combined into a complete operational system that can function to minimize the effects of radiation hazards resulting from a peacetime radiological emergency or nuclear attack.
