Section 5010.500  Evidence of Theft Found During Annual Inventory

If an agency uncovers evidence of theft of State property during an inventory or at any other time, such evidence shall be immediately reported  to the Property Control Division and to the Department of State Police for agencies under the jurisdiction of the Governor.  Other agencies, boards, commissions and universities shall report thefts to local law enforcement officials or internal law enforcement officials.  Thefts of federal property shall be reported to the General Services Administration.  A copy of any police report regarding the theft shall be forwarded to the Division of Property Control and to the Department of State Police for agencies under the jurisdiction of the Governor.
