Section 5040.510  Insurance

Drivers of vehicles owned or leased by the State are covered by the State of Illinois self-insured motor vehicle liability plan.  Any person driving his/her own vehicle or a privately leased or rented vehicle while on State business must have motor vehicle liability insurance in amounts required by Section 10-101(b) of the Illinois Vehicle Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 95½, par. 10-101(b)).
