Section 100.5  Emergency Action

If the Director finds that the public interest, safety or welfare imperatively requires emergency action, and if the Director incorporates a finding to that effect in an order, summary suspension of a license or authorization to conduct a particular activity may be ordered, pending proceedings for revocation, termination or other actions, which proceedings shall be promptly instituted and determined. (Section 10-65 of the IAPA)
