Section 1200.50  Recording of Hearings

Whenever a representation hearing, unfair labor practice hearing, strike investigation hearing or similar hearing is held by the Board or its Administrative Law Judge under the Act or this Part or 80 Ill. Adm. Code 1210, 1220 or 1230, it shall be recorded by stenographic or other means that adequately preserves the record.  The Administrative Law Judge or the Board may order that the recording be transcribed.  Parties may order transcripts and shall bear the costs of any transcripts that they order.
