Section 2170.220  Determining Insurance Rates and Premiums

The Director will determine the insurance rates and premiums for TRS Benefit Recipients and TRS Dependent Beneficiaries.  Rates and premiums may be based in part on age and eligibility for federal Medicare coverage.  Pursuant to the Act, premiums are based on the plan selected by the Benefit Recipient.  The TRS Benefit Recipient shall pay the entire premium for any coverage for a TRS Dependent Beneficiary.
