Section 448.EXHIBIT A   Rebuilt Vehicles

18.1     In addition to the general testing requirements of Sections 448.110 and 448.APP A, Rebuilt Vehicles are also subject to the following requirements.

18.2     Proof of Ownership

Obtain proof of ownership information from Salvage Certificate.

18.3     Do not proceed with safety test until driver of vehicle can produce Salvage Certificate.

18.4     Emergency Warning Devices

First division rebuilt vehicles do not require emergency warning devices (i.e., red lanterns, red flags, red reflectors, fluorescent triangles, liquid flares and fusees).

18.5     If a Rebuilt Vehicle meets or exceeds the minimum standards outlined in this Part, a Certificate of Safety must be affixed in the location prescribed in Section 448.100.
