Biography: Family farmer and retired Brigadier General - Illinois Air National Guard (30 years of commissioned service). Trustee on the Lincoln Land Community College Board of Trustees and formerly served on the Morrisonville Community Unit School District #1 Board of Education and the Macoupin County Soil & Water Conservation District Board. Graduated from Sangamon State University (University of Illinois-Springfield) in 1974 with a B.A. in Mathematics. Sportsman and hunter; established the Wild Rural Park Hunting and Fishing Preserve. Proud member of the National Rifle Association; Illinois State Rifle Association; Christian County Farm Bureau; Life Member - National Guard Association of Illinois/United States; Air Force Association; American Legion Post #721; and the Knights of Columbus Council #1152. Wayne and his wife Marcia have been married for 39 years and are the proud parents of three sons - Dustin, Sean and Casey.
