SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes various appropriations to the Department of Children and Family Services for payments for the care of children served by private agencies under contract with the Department and for cost of care reimbursements to foster parents. Effective July 1, 2017.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. In addition to any other amounts appropriated, the following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for payments for the care of children served by private agencies under contract with the Department:
For Institution and Group
Home Care and Prevention................... $43,600,000
For Foster Homes and Specialized
Foster Care and Prevention................. $38,850,000
Section 10. In addition to any other amounts appropriated, the following named amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Children and Family Services for payments for cost of care reimbursements to foster parents of youth in care of the Department:
For Foster Homes and Specialized
Foster Care and Prevention................. $32,600,000
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2017.
