SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Makes appropriations from non-general revenue funds as provided by law. With respect to Funds where no distributions are provided for by law, and from which distributions were made, in whole or part, during Fiscal Year 2015 through appropriations, provides that, if no such appropriation has been enacted in Fiscal Year 2018, then appropriations shall be made for Fiscal Year 2018 in the same manner as provided for Fiscal Year 2015. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  FY18 Non-General Revenue Fund Appropriations.  This Section shall not apply to the General Revenue Fund.  With respect to moneys received by any Fund in the State treasury, or any Fund held outside of the State treasury the distribution of which is provided for by law, the full amount received, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated and shall be distributed in the manner provided by law for that Fund. For those Funds that distribute moneys received from non-State sources, the full amount received from non-State sources, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated and shall be distributed in the manner provided by law for that Fund, without regard to the amount of moneys received. For those Funds where no distributions are provided for by law, and from which distributions were made, in whole or part, during Fiscal Year 2015 through appropriations, if no such appropriation has been enacted in Fiscal Year 2018, then appropriations shall be made for Fiscal Year 2018 in the same manner as provided for Fiscal Year 2015.

 

    Section 98. The appropriation authority granted in this Act shall be valid for costs incurred from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
