SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
15 ILCS 20/50-35

    Amends the State Budget Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that within 48 hours after the Governor's budget address, the Governor's Office of Management and Budget shall file a copy of the entire budget, except for budget implementation, as a single appropriations bill prepared by the Legislative Reference Bureau with the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Minority Leader of the Senate, and the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives. Effective immediately.

1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The State Budget Law of the Civil Administrative
5Code of Illinois is amended by changing Section 50-35 as
6follows:
 
7    (15 ILCS 20/50-35)
8    Sec. 50-35. Publication Online publication; budget.
9    (a) Within 60 days of its enactment into law, the
10Governor's Office of Management and Budget shall publish to its
11website the budget of the State of Illinois for the coming
12fiscal year in its entirety in comma-separated value format
13(.csv), Xtree for Windows Script format (.xcl), or another
14comparable format.
15    (b) Within 48 hours after the Governor's budget address,
16the Governor's Office of Management and Budget shall file a
17copy of the entire budget, except for budget implementation, as
18a single appropriations bill prepared by the Legislative
19Reference Bureau with the President of the Senate, the Speaker
20of the House of Representatives, the Minority Leader of the
21Senate, and the Minority Leader of the House of
22Representatives.
