SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Darren L. Evans of El Paso, who passed
4away on January 10, 2017 at the age of 54; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Darren Evans was born in Pontiac to Thomas and
6Pamela Turner Evans on January 9, 1963; he married Teri J.
7Breach in Nashua, Iowa on September 30, 1988; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Darren Evans was employed with the Woodford County
9Sheriff's Department; he retired as the Chief Deputy in 2014;
10he was a member of the Secor Sportsmen's Club, the Fraternal
11Order of Police, and was a 4-H Youth Sports Volunteer; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Darren Evans was preceded in death by his parents;
13and a brother, sister, and granddaughter in infancy; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Darren Evans is survived by his wife, Teri; his
15children, Megan (Earl) Evans, Allison (Eric) Evans-Barras,
16Haley (Zac) Evans, and Adam Evans; his brother and sister, Eric
17(Dawn) Evans and Stephanie (Dan) Myers; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
20family and friends, mourn the passing of Darren Evans, and

1extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all
2who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Darren Evans as an expression of our
5deepest sympathy.
