SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Peter Thomas Marsalek of Antioch, who
4passed away on May 19, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Peter Marsalek was born in Highland Park to Edward
6and Joyce (Wonsil) Marsalek on February 7, 1996; he attended
7St. Peter Grade School and graduated from Antioch Community
8High School; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Peter Marsalek most recently worked as a tile
10setter; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Peter Marsalek enjoyed hunting, fishing, and
12working on his big, green truck; he was a very proud homeowner
13and his most recent accomplishment was his new home in Camp
14Lake; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Peter Marsalek was a welcoming person and was the
16first friend of many; he made others comfortable in new
17surroundings and also brought those without a friend into his
18circle; he was fearless and made the most of every day,
19joyfully, and happily; his happy smile, friendliness, and
20goofiness will be missed by many; and

1    WHEREAS, Peter Marsalek was preceded in death by his
2maternal grandfather, Thomas Wonsil; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Peter Marsalek is survived by his parents; his
4brothers, Nicholas and Alex Marsalek; his aunts and uncles,
5Diann Marsalek, Carolyn Marsalek, Sherri (Patrick) Nettin, and
6Thomas (Amy) Wonsil; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Ann
7Marsalek; his maternal grandmother, Jill Wonsil; many cousins;
8his best friend, Trevor; and his faithful dog, Coco; therefore,
9be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Peter Thomas Marsalek, and extend our sincere condolences to
13his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Peter Marsalek as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
