SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Thomas D. Harding of Woodstock, who
4passed away on May 29, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Harding was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on
6October 11, 1943; he graduated from Notre Dame University,
7where he played football and won the championship in 1965; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Thomas Harding was a well respected Woodstock
9business man and joined his father and brother in the family
10business, Harding Real Estate; he served as president of the
11Board of Realtors; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Thomas Harding was an active member of the Marian
13Central High School Boosters Club; he was active in the
14Woodstock community and was a member of the Woodstock Rotary
15Club and the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce; he was a member of
16St. Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock, where he served as a
17weekly usher; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Thomas Harding was preceded in death by his
19parents and his wife, Anne E. Harding; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Thomas Harding is survived by his children,

1Bradley (Tricia) Harding, Andrew (Jocelyn) Harding, Stephen
2(Lisa) Harding, and Tracy Harding; his grandchildren, Kelsey
3Harding, Parker Harding, Signe Harding, Linzie Harding, Lauren
4Harding, Taylor Harding, Frank Bungay, and Stella Bungay; his
5brother, John E. (Judy) Harding; his sister, Mary B. Green; and
6several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Thomas D. Harding, and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Thomas Harding as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
