SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Angelo A. Marchio of Joliet, who passed
4away on October 6, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio was born in Carbondale,
6Pennsylvania to Paul Marchio and Philomena (Marchio) Ventura in
71928; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio worked as a carpenter with
9Carpenters Local Union #174; he was the former owner and
10operator of Marchio's Tavern; he was a United States Army
11Veteran of the Korean War; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio was preceded in death by his loving
13wife, Kathryn (Hibler) Marchio; and his parents; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Angelo Marchio is survived by his sons, Anthony,
15Michael, and Stephen (Gayle) Marchio; his grandchildren,
16Nicholas and Vincent Marchio; his brother, Bruno (the late
17Carol); his sister-in-law, Mary Lou (Ron) Erjavec; his nieces
18and nephews, Paul, David, Lori, Gina, Dean, and Sue; and his
19devoted companion, Barbara Confer; therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Angelo A. Marchio, and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Angelo Marchio as an expression of
7our deepest sympathy.
