SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Anton George "Tony" Sikorcin of Boynton
4Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 28, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin was born in Chicago to Anton and
6Julia on May 11, 1934; he served in the U.S. Army for four
7years; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin founded Craftsman Tool & Mold
9Company in 1965, a manufacturing company that specializes in
10custom mold bases for the plastic injection industry;
11originally located in Franklin Park, it has since been
12relocated to Aurora and still thrives today; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin was preceded in death by his
14daughter, Sue Schultz; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Anton Sikorcin is survived by his loving wife,
16Ramona (Toni); his children, Shirley (Brian) Yagoda, Glenn
17(Tammy) Sikorcin, Wayne (Laura) Sikorcin, and (James) Schultz;
18his grandchildren, Kylie, Jared (Aubrey), Allyse, Dominique
19(Ryan), Tyler, Cheyenne, Luke, Abby, Emma, and Jack; his
20"adopted" granddaughter, Joan Bowen; his great-grandchild,
21Skylar; his sister, June (Dale) Tate; and his nieces, Lynda and

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Anton George "Tony" Sikorcin, and extend our sincere
5condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved
6him; and be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Anton Sikorcin as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
