SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William "Bill" Stuart Moser of Urbana,
4who passed away on January 5, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bill Moser was born in Urbana to Steve and Nancy
6(Pepper) Moser on September 21, 1967; he graduated from St.
7Joseph-Ogden High School in 1985; he earned a Bachelor of
8Science in Physics and Astronomy from the University of
9Illinois; he then earned a Master's Degree in Astronomy from
10the University of Florida; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Bill Moser taught physics and astronomy at several
12community colleges; he then decided to return to his family's
13farm, which he had planned to take over when his parents
14retired; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Bill Moser enjoyed music, foreign languages, and
16working with and refurbishing computers; he will be dearly
17missed by those who loved him; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Bill Moser was preceded in death by his paternal
19grandfather, Wayne Moser; and his maternal grandparents, Alice
20and William Pepper; and

1    WHEREAS, Bill Moser is survived by his parents; his
2sisters, Anne (James) Shumar and Katie Moser (Nathan Hankins);
3his paternal grandmother, Helen Moser Jedlick; and his four
4nieces; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7William "Bill" Stuart Moser and extend our sincere condolences
8to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
9it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Bill Moser as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
