SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ronald L. Pacha of Bloomington, who
4passed away on January 16, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was born in Brighton, Iowa to Leonard
6and Margaret Pauly Pacha on September 26, 1940; he married
7Janice R. Deutsch in Pleasant Plain, Iowa on July 1, 1961; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ron Pacha worked at Citizens Savings and Loan; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic
10Church in Bloomington, where he served on the parish council
11and as a cantor; he was a fourth degree member of the Knights
12of Columbus; he was a member of the Normal Chamber of Commerce,
13Normal Rotary Club, Young Men's Club and Optimist Club and was
14a Trustee for Normal Township; he was an avid fan of the
15Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears; in his retirement, he
16enjoyed spending time with his family and attending their
17activities and events; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Ron Pacha was preceded in death by his parents;
19and
 
20    WHEREAS, Ron Pacha is survived by his wife, Janice; his

1children, Terri (David) Ashley, Ken (Christie) Pacha; and
2Angela (David) Auth; his grandchildren, Zachary (Jilliann)
3Pacha, Hilary Pacha, Christopher (Amanda) Ashley, Joshua
4(Alexis Bealer) Ashley, Allyson (fiance, Joey Clanton) Auth,
5and Brandon Auth; his great-grandchildren, Austin and Avery
6Pacha and Elijah Pacha; his other family, Lisa Pacha-Hardesty;
7and his nine brothers and sisters; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Ronald L. Pacha and extend our sincere condolences to his
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Ron Pacha as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
