SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Aleigra J. Revak of Ashland City,
4Tennessee, formerly of McHenry, who passed away on January 19,
52018; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Aleigra Revak was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
7Lester Bliffert and Alyce (Schmidt) Bliffert on October 4,
81924; she married Leo Revak at the Christian Church in
9Ladysmith, Wisconsin on July 24, 1948; after living in McHenry
10for 60 years, she relocated to Tennessee with her daughter and
11her family; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Aleigra Revak was a registered nurse and enjoyed a
13long career at the former McHenry Hospital, where she worked as
14the Purchasing Manager; she used her medical knowledge, along
15with a talent to efficiently manage a busy department, to
16process and receive orders for the facility; she retired in
171994; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Aleigra Revak was a longtime member of the First
19Baptist Church in McHenry, and her church and church friends
20were dear to her; she enjoyed going bowling and playing Bingo;
21she cherished the love of her family and was a caring wife and
22mother and an adoring grandmother; and

1    WHEREAS, Aleigra Revak was preceded in death by her
2parents; and her husband, Leo; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Aleigra Revak is survived by her children, Rob
4(Laurie) Revak and Judy (Roger) Lance; her grandchildren, Joe
5(Ellen) Revak, Quinn Revak (fiance Mia Fikaris), Sara (Timo)
6Fabian, Amy Marie Boorsma (fiance Eric Blackwood), and Christa
7(Mitchel) Hubert; her great-grandchildren, Annabelle Marie
8Boorsma and Everly Rose; her sister, Betti Sheldon; and her
9nephews, Carey Sheldon, Blake (Leanne) Sheldon, and Derek
10Sheldon; therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Aleigra J. Revak and extend our sincere condolences to her
14family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Aleigra Revak as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
