SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Muriel A. Budzynski of Johnsburg, who
4passed away on April 24, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski was born in Chicago to John F.
6and Eleanora (Marszalek) Paszkiet on May 9, 1939; as a young
7woman, she worked with the St. Vincent de Paul Society in their
8infant ward; she married Richard Budzynski at St. Robert
9Bellarmine Church in Chicago on September 29, 1962; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski worked with her husband at the
11family printing business, RFB Litho Service Inc. in Johnsburg
12for 39 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski and her family summered in
14Johnsburg for 10 years before settling in Johnsburg in 1999;
15she was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Church in
16Johnsburg; she was also active with the Knights of Columbus
17Council 9167 Ladies Auxiliary; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski's passion was her family; she was
19a talented cook who loved to feed people; she and her husband
20were affectionately known as "Mr. & Mrs. B" by her children's
21friends, who were loved and always welcomed when her children

1had friends over or hosted parties; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski was preceded in death by her
3parents; her husband, Richard F. Budzynski Sr.; and her
4brothers, John, Walter (the late Dona), and David Paszkiet; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Muriel Budzynski is survived by her children,
6Adrienne (Christopher) Hentz and Richard F. Jr. (Karina)
7Budzynski; her grandchildren, Alexander, Shawn, Elise, Jake,
8and Mila; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy (the late George)
9Blickhawn and JoAnne Paszkiet; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Muriel A. Budzynski, and extend our sincere condolences to her
13family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Muriel Budzynski as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
