SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Timothy D. "Tim" Heimer, who passed away
4on November 30, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tim Heimer was born in Ottawa to Donald and Betty
6(Huff) Heimer on September 6, 1960 and lived most of his life
7in Channahon; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Tim Heimer was a member of the IBEW Local 176 for
938 years and taught their fiber optics class for several years;
10he was a trustee for the Village of Channahon for four years
11and a member of the Chanooka Braves board for four years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Tim Heimer devoted his life to his wife, children,
13and grandchildren and received great joy and fulfillment from
14spending time with them; he loved to hunt and fish and took
15several trips to Canada to fish with his boys; he could always
16be counted on when someone needed a hand; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Tim Heimer was preceded in death by his parents;
18his brothers, Jim, Darrell, and Dave Heimer; and his
19mother-in-law, Darlene (Fisher) Boyle; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Tim Heimer is survived by his wife of almost 40

1years, Denise (Boyle) Heimer; his sons, Eric, Nicholas (Jill),
2Dr. Kyle (Stephanie), and Gabriel Heimer; his grandchildren,
3John, Sarah, Natalie, Grayson, Nathaniel, Norah, and Emilia
4Heimer; his brothers, Larry (Mariko), Mike (Nicky), Jerry
5(Vicki), and Jeffrey (Emily); his father-in-law, Leo Boyle; and
6numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Timothy D. "Tim" Heimer and extend our sincere condolences to
10his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Tim Heimer as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
