    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

ARTICLE 1

 

    Section 1.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission Operations Fund to the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission:

GENERAL OFFICE

  For Personal Services:

   Regular Positions............................. 8,529,800

   Arbitrators................................... 3,938,600

  For State Contributions to State

   Employees' Retirement System.................. 4,631,000

  For Arbitrators' Retirement System............. 2,138,300

  For State Contributions to Social Security....... 953,900

  For Group Insurance............................ 3,552,000

  For Contractual Services....................... 1,700,000

  For Travel....................................... 320,000

  For Commodities................................... 65,000

  For Printing...................................... 30,000

  For Equipment..................................... 30,000

  For Telecommunications Services................... 85,000

  For Electronic Data Processing................. 2,600,000

    Total                                       $28,573,600

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $1,914,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission Operations Fund to Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission for costs associated with the establishment, administration and operations of the Insurance Compliance Division of the workers’ compensation anti-fraud program administered by Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.

 

    Section 10.  The amount of $60,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission Operations Fund to Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission for costs associated with the establishment of the Medical Fee Schedule and other provisions of the Workers’ Compensation Act.

 

Section 99.  Effective Date.  This Act takes effect July 1, 2019.
