HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Natalie
4K. Rothbart, who passed away on September 21, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart was born on January 1, 1930; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart worked with her local community
7to establish a library district for the people of Norridge and
8Harwood Heights, and, in 1974, was among the first group of
9trustees sworn in to serve on the board for the newly
10established Eisenhower Public Library District; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart served as trustee on the board
12from September 1, 1974 to September 21, 2018; she was treasurer
13for her full 44 years on the board; and
 
14    WHEREAS, In 2003, Natalie Rothbart worked to help pass a
15referendum to build a new library; she was actively involved in
16beautifying the grounds surrounding the new building; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart was also a dedicated lifelong
18volunteer for over 45 years with the Girl Scouts; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Natalie Rothbart was the beloved wife of 66 years

1to Hans; the loving mom of Thomas and Linda; and the cherished
2grandma of Peter (Kristin) and Margaret; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
4HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
5we mourn the passing of Natalie K. Rothbart and extend our
6sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew
7and loved her; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Natalie Rothbart as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
