SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mark Bently Harvey of Coal Valley, who
4passed away on February 10, 2020; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mark Harvey was born to Joe and Anne Mae (Pratt)
6Harvey in Ogden, Iowa on October 11, 1932; he served in the
7U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War; he married Minnie L.
8Bakalar in St. Charles on July 17, 1959; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Mark Harvey retired from John Deere, Moline Plow
10Planter, in 1992; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mark Harvey enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and
12computers; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Mark Harvey was preceded in death by his wife,
14Minnie L. (Bakalar) Harvey; his grandson, Jacob; and his
15siblings, Morris (Lorraine) Harvey, William Harvey, George
16(Giesela) Harvey, Josephine (Jim) Cammeron, Nancy (Phil)
17Lowrie, Lannetta (Charlie) Crumbaugh, Mary (Harold)
18Stoneburner, and Richard Harvey; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Mark Harvey is survived by his nine children,
20Rickey Lee (Reita Griffin) Harvey, Ronald G. Harvey, Cheryl K.

1(Jim) Dudick, Doreen A. (Denny) Passow, Lori A. (Richard)

7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Mark B. Harvey and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Mark Harvey as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
