SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Wilma Hyatt of Pekin on
4 May 7, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Mrs. Hyatt was born May 14, 1924, in Roseville, to
6 Frank J. and Edith Enfield Schumm; and
 
7     WHEREAS, She married John Kenneth Hyatt on July 29, 1942,
8 in Pekin; and
 
9     WHEREAS, She was a homemaker; she was a member of First
10 Christian Church; she belonged to the Women of the Moose, was
11 active in Pekin bowling leagues, and volunteered at Pekin
12 Hospital for many years; and
 
13     WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband; and
 
14     WHEREAS, The passing of Wilma Hyatt is felt by all who knew
15 and loved her, especially her daughter, Wilanna (Rex) Thorpe;
16 her son, Larry (Sandy) Hyatt; and her grandchildren and
17 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
18     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
19 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20 Wilma Hyatt and extend our sincerest condolences to her family,
21 friends, and community; and be it further
 
22     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to her family as an expression of our deepest
24 sympathy.
