SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Patricia Ann "Pat" Schintgen of Antioch,
4who passed away on February 12, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born August 20, 1943 in Chicago, the
6daughter of the late Casmir and Frances Olszowy; she moved to
7Antioch in 1970, where she was a member of St. Peter Church;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and fishing;
10she dearly cherished her grandchildren, and loved attending
11their recitals, sporting events, and competitions; and
 
12    WHEREAS, She was very family oriented and had a love for
13animals; and
 
14    WHEREAS, On January 7, 1961, she married John Charles
15Schintgen in Chicago; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Patricia Schintgen is survived by her husband of
1750 years, John; her daughters, Theresa A.(James) Yopp and
18Kimberly A. (Edward) Watkins; her grandchildren, Branden,
19Andrew, Sarah, Jessica, and Casey; and her great-grandson,
20Bryce; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3her family and friends, the passing of Patricia Schintgen; and
4be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Patricia Schintgen as a symbol of
7our sincere sympathy.
