SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ralph A. Coari of Lake Villa, who passed
4away on December 27, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ralph Coari was born on July 9, 1955, in Chicago;
6he was the son of Joan and the late Ralph, Sr.; he lived in Lake
7Villa for the past 32 years, moving there from Antioch; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ralph Coari served his country with pride and
9distinction as a member of the United States Army; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Ralph Coari retired from the Kiley Developmental
11Center after 30 years of service; he was a member and past
12president of AFSCME Council 31 Local 785; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ralph Coari was a member of Prince of Peace
14Catholic Church; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ralph Coari coached youth softball and girls
16iceless hockey for many years; he was devoted to his family and
17spent his leisure time on the golf course; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Ralph Coari was preceded in death by his father,
19Ralph, Sr.; and

1    WHEREAS, Ralph Coari is survived by his wife, Diane, whom
2he married on August 18, 1979; his daughters, Rachel (Hoby)
3Roberts and Kristin; his granddaughter, Cadence Roberts; his
4mother, Joan Mitchell; his brothers, Richard (Debbie) Coari,
5John (Karen) Coari, and Ken (Cindy) Coari; and his nephews,
6Dan, Brendon, David, Brian, Jason, Matthew, Nick, Jon, and
7Joshua, and their families; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10his family and friends, the passing of Ralph A. Coari; and be
11it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Ralph Coari as an expression of our
14sympathy.
