| 3 | | inserting the following in its proper numeric sequence:

| 4 | | "Section 195. Firearm carry prohibition; private property.

| 5 | | No person may knowingly carry a firearm into any private |
| 6 | | property without the express permission of the owner, manager, |
| 7 | | operator, or individual with the authority to control |
| 8 | | activities in that place at that time. This Section shall apply |
| 9 | | to private property of any kind, including a private residence, |
| 10 | | place of business, and any surrounding premises under its |
| 11 | | control including adjacent property and parking lots, |
| 12 | | regardless of whether they are open or closed to members of the |
| 13 | | public.".
