HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
4Christopher "Chris" R. Brown of Hudson, who passed away on
5March 5, 2013; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was born on November 9, 1973, in
7Hershey, Pennsylvania; his parents were Michael R. and Pamela
8S. (Walters) Brown; he married Amie Melton on June 7, 1997, in
9Peoria; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown graduated from Charleston High
11School in 1992; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was a 12-year member of the
13Bloomington Fire Department; he was a 3-year member of the
14Hudson Community Fire Department and a 2-year member of the
15Peoria Heights Fire Department and the Morton Fire Department;
16he was also a member of the Associated Fire Fighters of
17Illinois Honor Guard; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was a loving husband and father
19to his 2 sons; he spent his time serving his community and
20enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, camping,
21playing hockey, and watching his favorite team, the Chicago

1Blackhawks; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was preceded in death by his
3maternal grandfather, Willis W. Walters; his paternal
4grandfather, Jack Brown; and his paternal uncle, Dana A. Clark;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown is survived by his wife, Amie;
7his sons, Max and Mason; his parents; his brother, Anthony M.
8(Kimberly) Brown; his sister, Jennifer Renee (Frank) Radek; his
9maternal grandmother, Beverly J. Behnke; his paternal
10grandmother, Barbara L. Kline; his in-laws, Robert and Joan
11Melton; and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews;
12therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of
16Christopher "Chris" R. Brown; and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Christopher Brown as an expression
19of our sympathy.
