SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Betty J. Jackson of McHenry, who passed
4away on January 3, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Betty Jackson was born on April 19, 1930 in
6Chicago to Gerard and Mildred (nee Hensel) Schons; she married
7Joseph Jackson on September 19, 1949 at St. John the Baptist
8Catholic Church in Johnsburg; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Betty Jackson was a member of St. Patrick Church
10in McHenry, where she was active in the Ladies Guild; she
11enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially
12with the Widows Club; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Betty Jackson was preceded in death by her parents
14and by her husband, Joseph; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Betty Jackson is survived by her children, Randall
16(Kristin) Jackson, Suzanne (Joseph) Tyburski, David (Cynthia)
17Jackson, and Karen McGee; her grandchildren, Jessica (Peter)
18Croshaw, Amanda (Steven) Prochaska, Julianne (Paul) Kipple,
19Sara (Jason) Noyer, Laura Tyburski, Andrew (Brandi) Jackson,
20Anthony Jackson, Peter Jackson, and Kathleen McGee; and her 11
21great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Betty J. Jackson, and extend our sincere condolences to her
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Betty Jackson as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
