SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Suzanne M. Dopke of McHenry, who passed
4away on February 28, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Suzanne Dopke was born on November 25, 1933 in
6Chicago; her parents were Kenneth and Mabel (nee Sawyer)
7Larson; she married Ronald F. Dopke on November 13, 1952 in
8Chicago; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Suzanne Dopke was employed as a bus driver for
10McHenry School District 156 and Family Services; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Suzanne Dopke was a member of Shepherd of the
12Hills Lutheran Church; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Suzanne Dopke enjoyed traveling with her family,
14wide open spaces, crocheting, raising her Great Danes, and
15spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Suzanne Dopke was preceded in death by her
17parents; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Suzanne Dopke is survived by her husband of 61
19years, Ronald; her children, Kenneth (Kimberly A.) Dopke,

5Vanderhorst, Clayton C. Dopke, Bonnie S. Sabaj, Andrew P.
6Sabaj, Kenneth (Becky Goodman) Sabaj, and Michael Fischer; her
711 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Bonnie Rielenger;
8therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
11family and friends, mourn the passing of Suzanne M. Dopke; and
12be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Suzanne Dopke as an expression of
15our sympathy.
