SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Justin Moore of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on April 28, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Moore was born on October 21, 1970 in
6Plattsburgh, New York; his parents were Jerome and Susan (nee
7Flannery) Moore; he married Margaret "Maggie" (nee Nichols) on
8July 5, 1997, in Poughkeepsie, New York; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John Moore attended Saratoga Springs High School
10and Plattsburgh State University; and
 
11    WHEREAS, John Moore was a proud member of the United States
12Army Reserve; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Moore was employed as a Senior Technical
14Director at AT&T; he was also a self-employed businessman of
15the Algonquin Family Laundromat and was involved with other
16business ventures; and
 
17    WHEREAS, John Moore was a member of numerous organizations,
18including the Nunda Masonic Lodge #169 of Crystal Lake, the
19Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Algonquin Chamber of
20Commerce, the American Legion, and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

1Church; he also served as a volunteer at the Northern Illinois
2Food Bank and the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity; and
 
3    WHEREAS, John Moore was preceded in death by his maternal
4grandparents, John and Ann Flannery; his paternal
5grandparents, Justin and Catherine Moore; and an uncle, John
6Flannery; and
 
7    WHEREAS, John Moore is survived by his loving wife, Maggie;
82 children, Collin Jerome Moore and Lena Donnarumma; his
9parents, Jerome and Susan; a sister, Amy S. (Brendan) Kelly; a
10brother, William B. (Christina) Moore; 4 uncles, Kevin,
11Christopher, Patrick, and Dennis Flannery; an aunt, Linda
12Flannery; 2 cousins, Bridget and Chelsey Flannery; 3 nephews,
13Justin and Joey Moore and Alex Kelly; and 2 nieces, Cetera
14Moore and Mackenzie Kelly; therefore, be it
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
17family and friends, mourn the passing of John Justin Moore; and
18be it further
 
19    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20presented to the family of John Moore as an expression of our
21sympathy.
