SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Hellmut R. Ross of Harvard, who passed
4away on July 20, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Hellmut Ross was born in Germany on September 2,
61936 to Alfred R. and Frieda (nee Toeppich) Ross; he married
7Wanda M. Dickson on June 19, 2004; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Hellmut Ross retired as President of Arno Rouse
9USA in 2010; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Hellmut Ross was an avid fan of the Green Bay
11Packers, NASCAR, and the Chicago Blackhawks; he field trained
12and showed English Springer Spaniels, and enjoyed photography
13and hunting and fishing with his friends; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Hellmut Ross was preceded in death by his parents,
15and by one brother; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Hellmut Ross is survived by his wife, Wanda Ross;
17children, Michelle (Michael) Terwilliger and April Bishop; 4
18grandchildren, Emma and Olivia Terwilliger and Caitlin and
19Collin Field; sister, Hilde (Herbert) Kuband; sisters-in-law,
20Mary Baker and Loretta Ohlson; and brothers-in-law, Allan

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Hellmut R. Ross, and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Hellmut Ross as an expression of our
9deepest sympathy.
