SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Rudolph W. Becker of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on October 4, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was born on January 1, 1934 in
6Elgin; his parents were Rudolf and Lottie (nee Marohn) Becker;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was a proud veteran of the United
9States Marine Corps during the Korean War; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker worked for many years as a
11production manager at the Chrysler plant in Belvidere until his
12retirement; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker enjoyed hiking, backpacking, and
14camping, music, dancing, books, history, traveling,
15researching music, old cars, and tractors, and spending time
16with his dog, Wally; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker was preceded in death by his
18parents and 2 brothers, Max and William; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Rudolph Becker is survived by 2 siblings,

1Charlotte Schumaker and Richard (Diana) Becker; 6 nieces and
2nephews, Lisa (Math) Ubachs, John (Luisa) Becker, Bill (Dawn)
3Schumaker, Lyddia (Jim) Hare, Lori (Tony) Laye, and Suzanne
4(Mike) Dovey; and many great-nieces and great-nephews;
5therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Rudolph W. Becker; and
9be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Rudolph Becker as an expression of
12our sympathy.
