Appropriates $25,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for the provision of opioid addiction services and preventative education, opioid antidote programing and distribution, and the administration of the Prescription Monitoring Program. Effective July 1, 2015.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $25,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for the provision of opioid addiction services and preventative education, opioid antidote programing and distribution, and the administration of the Prescription Monitoring Program.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2015.
