Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning the short title.

415 ILCS 5/22.40a new

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Environmental Protection Act. Provides that any liner used on certain municipal solid waste landfills must consist of at least 2 composite liners, each of which must include a geomembrane no less than 60 mils in thickness. Effective immediately.
