Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the Secretary of State may grant a waiver to the requirement that religious organization bus drivers hold a valid driver's license for 3 years prior to the date of application if there was a break of 30 days or less in holding a valid driver's license during that 3 year period.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that for a lapse in license renewal of 30 days or less, the applicant shall be eligible without a waiver from the Secretary of State. Provides that a waiver is only required for a lapse in excess of 30 days. Extends this grace period and application waiver to senior citizen transportation drivers and for-profit ridesharing arrangement drivers.
