Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that wild turkey and deer hunting permits shall be issued without charge to children, grandchildren, parents, grandparents, brothers, or sisters that permanently reside on lands with an Illinois landowner who owns or a resident tenant that resides on at least 40 acres of Illinois land.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
520 ILCS 5/2.11
520 ILCS 5/2.26
Adds reference to:
520 ILCS 5/2.27from Ch. 61, par. 2.27

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Wildlife Code. Extends the annual open season for cottontails, jack, and swamp rabbits from October 1st to February 28th (instead of January 31st). Effective immediately.
