Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Telecommunications Article of the Public Utilities Act. Requires telecommunications carriers to provide at least 2 weeks notice before discontinuing service on dedicated lines for fire alarms.

Amends the Telecommunications Article of the Public Utilities Act. Requires telecommunications carriers to provide a copy of any notice to local authorities when initiating a discontinuance of service on dedicated lines for fire alarms or emergency systems.
