Synopsis As Introduced
Makes appropriations from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services: to fund an increase in the topline rates paid to private sector agencies serving individuals with developmental disabilities to provide a 50 cent per hour wage increase for non-executive staff and to cover the increased costs of serving people; to fund an increase paid to private sector agencies serving individuals with mental illness to provide salary increases for non-executive staff and to cover the increased costs of serving people; to fund an increase paid to private sector agencies serving individuals who need addiction treatment services; to fund a full 6% cost-of-doing-business increase paid to private sector agencies who deliver addiction prevention services; to fund an increase paid to private sector agencies serving individuals who need vocational rehabilitation services; and for expanding CILAs and individual support options, for home-based support services, the Family Assistance Program, the Children's Home and Community Based Waiver State portion, and a Children's Residential Waiver, and for other designated purposes. Effective July 1, 2007.
