Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Interstate Mutual Emergency Aid Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Provides that, subject to specified conditions, the Director of the Department of Natural Resources, on behalf of the State of Illinois, is authorized to exchange certain real property in St. Clair County, Illinois for certain real property of equal or greater value in St. Clair County, Illinois. Provides that each party shall be responsible for any and all title costs associated with their respective properties.

Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Metro-East Sanitary District Act of 1974. Provides that, beginning on the effective date of the amendatory Act, the mayor of the largest municipality in the county having the greater equalized assessed valuation of the district shall be an ex officio commissioner of the Metro-East Sanitary District's Board of Commissioners. If there is not a vacant commissioner position from the county having the greater equalized assessed valuation on the effective date of the amendatory Act, then the term of the last appointed commissioner from that county is terminated on the effective date. Provides that, for the purpose of determining the ex officio commissioner, the county having the greater equalized assessed valuation of the district shall be established on January 1 of each year, and the ex officio commissioner shall serve until January 1 of the following year. Requires that the Executive Director of the district be a resident of the district. Makes conforming changes. Effective immediately.
