Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Park District Code. Provides that bonds issued by the Carol Stream Park District approved by referendum at the February 2, 2010 general primary election are not subject to the certain percentage limitations imposed, and shall not be considered as part of the existing principal indebtedness of that district.

Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Park District Code. Provides that bonds issued by the Carol Stream Park District approved by referendum at the February 2, 2010 general primary election are not subject to the certain percentage limitations imposed, and shall not be considered as part of the existing principal indebtedness of that district. Effective immediately.

Senate Floor Amendment No. 2
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Park District Code. Provides that certain bonds issued by a park district for airport purposes and bonds issued by the Carol Stream Park District approved by referendum at the February 2, 2010 general primary election are not subject to the any applicable percentage limitations imposed, and shall not be considered as part of the existing principal indebtedness of that district. Effective immediately.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts the provisions of the engrossed bill with the following change. Caps the amount of bonds issued by the Carol Stream Park District that are exempt from the percentage and debt limitations at $15,000,000. Effective immediately.
