Amends the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986. Makes a technical change in the short title Section.

750 ILCS 60/220from Ch. 40, par. 2312-20

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 and the Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986. Provides that an extension of a plenary order of protection may be granted, upon good cause shown, to remain in effect until the order of protection is vacated or modified.
