Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Department of Children and Family Services for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014, as follows: General Funds $608,976,700; Other State Funds $475,024,400; Federal Funds $10,611,600; Total $1,094,612,700.

 This Bill, as amended by House Amendment 1 would increase the total budget by $7,956,900. Family Preservation line would increase by $5,000,000 to restore statewide prevention services lost over recent years and increase para-professional rates. It also increases the Foster Homes & Specialized Foster Care line by $1,956,900 for statewide workforce development for older youth. Finally, the Adoption & Guardianship line would increase by $1,000,000 to increase adoption legal reimbursement rates to be consistent with Federal guidelines that establishes that level for subsidized guardianship cases while also increasing post-adoption educational support services for youth with special educational needs.

 Fiscal Note, House Floor Amendment No. 2 (Dept. of Children & Family Services)
 HB 6057 (H-AM 2) makes a technical correction to a fund name: therefore it has no fiscal impact.
